Professor of Ecology, Marine Ecosystem Restoration, and Environmental Sustainability at the Polytechnic University of Marche. Former President of several national and international scientific societies. Member of multiple Scientific Academies and author of over 500 publications and several books, he has won numerous international awards and is among the world's foremost experts in the field of Seas and Oceans.
Del Negro Paola
General Director of OGS (National Institute of Oceanography and Applied Geophysics). I am a marine biologist and research director. My research has focused on the functioning of marine ecosystems, with particular attention to coastal, transitional, and polar systems, using interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary approaches.
Facchini Maria Cristina
Director of the Institute of Atmospheric Sciences and Climate (ISAC) of the National Research Council (CNR). She studies chemical and physical processes in the Earth system and their effects on changes in atmospheric composition and climate.
Falvo Camillo
Magistrate – Public Prosecutor of Vibo Valentia, specialized in combating environmental crimes.
Callegati Mauro
Professor of Economics at the Marche Polytechnic University in Ancona. He is considered one of the pioneers of economic modeling based on ABMs (agent-based models). He published Acrescita (2016) with Einaudi, and co-authored Regenerating the Planet (2025) with Roberto Danovaro for Laterza.
Greco Francesca
Geographer specializing in international water policies. She has served the United Nations at UNESCO Ghana and at UNESCO’s World Water Assessment Programme for eight years, working on water monitoring and gender inequalities. As the last student of Professor Tony Allan (King’s College London), she focuses on virtual water and the water footprint in Italy. She is currently a Marie Curie Research Fellow at the University of Bergamo and a Visiting Research Fellow in the Department of Geography at King’s College London.

Pusceddu Antonio
Full Professor of Ecology at the University of Cagliari. A former President of the Italian Society of Ecology, he works on the sustainability of human activities in marine ecosystems.
Uricchio Antonio Felice
Full Professor of Tax Law, he has chaired the Governing Board of ANVUR since 2020. A former Rector of the University of Bari, he has carried out academic work at prestigious Italian and international universities, distinguishing himself for his scientific rigor and institutional commitment. A prolific author, he has received academic and civic awards for his contributions to law and to the promotion of quality in higher education and research, both in Italy and abroad.
Chiarucci Alessandro
Professor at the University of Bologna, Italy. He is member elected of Academia Europaea, of the National Academy of Agriculture, of the Academy of Sciences of Bologna, and honorary member of the Italian Botanical Society. He is member of the IUCN World Commission on Protected Areas, the Italian WWF Scientific Community, and the Scientific Panel of the Italian Federation of Parks. He is included within the World’s Top 2% Scientists by Stanford University and the Top Italian Scientists. He has been awarded as Italian Knowledge Leader. His research focuses on species diversity patterns within the frame of biogeography and macroecology. He consider Science as a contribution to a better world, peaceful and healthy for the human beings and the other organisms living on the Earth.
Adriana Albini
She is Scientific Advisor of the Scientific Directorate of IRCCS Istituto Europeo di Oncologia (IEO). She is Past and Founding Chair of the Cancer Prevention Working Group (CPWG) of the AACR (American Association for Cancer Research). She was a Member of the Scientific Council of the CNR in the 2024–2025 biennium. She was Full Professor and subsequently Professor Expert of High Qualification in General Pathology at UniBicocca until 2022, and Scientific Director of the Fondazione Onlus of IRCCS MultiMedica until December 2022.
Silvestro Greco
Silvestro Greco is a marine biologist, Full Professor of Ecology at the University of Gastronomic Sciences in Pollenzo, Vice President of the Anton Dohrn Zoological Station in Naples, and lecturer in Marine Ecology at the Pontifical University Antonianum in Rome. He holds an honorary PhD (honoris causa) in Applied Biology and Experimental Medicine from the University of Messina, and has served as a former member of the National Scientific Committee for Antarctica and of the Italian Oceanographic Commission. He has conducted scientific fishing campaigns in seas across the world, participating in six research expeditions to Antarctica. He is the author of over two hundred scientific publications in Italy and abroad.
Adriana Albini
