General Director of OGS (National Institute of Oceanography and Applied Geophysics). I am a marine biologist and research director. My research has focused on the functioning of marine ecosystems, with particular attention to coastal, transitional, and polar systems, using interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary approaches.
Facchini Maria Cristina

Director of the Institute of Atmospheric Sciences and Climate (ISAC) of the National Research Council (CNR). She studies chemical and physical processes in the Earth system and their effects on changes in atmospheric composition and climate.

Magistrate – Public Prosecutor of Vibo Valentia, specialized in combating environmental crimes.
Callegati Mauro

Professor of Economics at the Marche Polytechnic University in Ancona. He is considered one of the pioneers of economic modeling based on ABMs (agent-based models). He published Acrescita (2016) with Einaudi, and co-authored Regenerating the Planet (2025) with Roberto Danovaro for Laterza.
Greco Francesca

Geographer specializing in international water policies. She has served the United Nations at UNESCO Ghana and at UNESCO’s World Water Assessment Programme for eight years, working on water monitoring and gender inequalities. As the last student of Professor Tony Allan (King’s College London), she focuses on virtual water and the water footprint in Italy. She is currently a Marie Curie Research Fellow at the University of Bergamo and a Visiting Research Fellow in the Department of Geography at King’s College London.

Pusceddu Antonio

Uricchio Antonio Felice

Full Professor of Tax Law, he has chaired the Governing Board of ANVUR since 2020. A former Rector of the University of Bari, he has carried out academic work at prestigious Italian and international universities, distinguishing himself for his scientific rigor and institutional commitment. A prolific author, he has received academic and civic awards for his contributions to law and to the promotion of quality in higher education and research, both in Italy and abroad.
Chiarucci Alessandro

Professor at the University of Bologna, Italy. He is member elected of Academia Europaea, of the National Academy of Agriculture, of the Academy of Sciences of Bologna, and honorary member of the Italian Botanical Society. He is member of the IUCN World Commission on Protected Areas, the Italian WWF Scientific Community, and the Scientific Panel of the Italian Federation of Parks. He is included within the World’s Top 2% Scientists by Stanford University and the Top Italian Scientists. He has been awarded as Italian Knowledge Leader. His research focuses on species diversity patterns within the frame of biogeography and macroecology. He consider Science as a contribution to a better world, peaceful and healthy for the human beings and the other organisms living on the Earth.
